Shadow Dreams is now The Panic Pit

I have been thinking about this change for quite a while. After all, Shadow Dreams has been in development for a long time.
Years. Many years.This is completely understandable, since we took the time to finish many other projects, gain clients, and build the partnerships needed to carry the weight of an IP.

A healthy foundation that can actually support it.Shadow Dreams was also the name of the first metal album I produced back in 2012 to 2015, and naturally it became the name of the first project I decided to build when I started my game development journey, back when this concept was nothing more than a simple idea.After many, many, MANY iterations, the dust is finally settling as we reach the final production stages.

The codename Shadow Dreams is now becoming The Panic Pit, signifying a clearer connection to the story, the context, and the depth of the game, and hopefully catching more eyes as we approach release.Next step, a full redesign of the logo and the overall brand of the game, starting with the main character. Previously, the character was almost negligible in appearance since the title was an FPS.

Now that it is a third person adventure, I have decided to choose an undead skeleton as the main character to symbolize the player as the last thought of hope.

born from the depths of the Panic Pit, with the ability to regenerate upon death and begin the journey again.Currently, we are in the process of setting up all the graphical assets on the PlayStation Store and the Steam store page.That’s it.

We are at the finish line. Hopefully.
